Aterante CPEC Route: Chakdara-Gilgit Road
KP government is working to construct a road to connect Chakdara (Lower Dir) with the north of Gilgit. This will provide them with an alternate route to the CPEC in the province.
The route will comprise the Chitral and Shandoor roads as well. In a meeting between CM KP and KP Minister of Communication and Works, Mr. Mahmood Khan and Akbar Ayub Khan, it was decided to complete the project very soon. The tourism is expected to be boosted along with the economy after its construction.
