Karachi Inaugurates a Thrilling Zipline at Safari Park
In an exhilarating turn of events, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Salman Murad, officially inaugurated the city's first-ever zipline at Safari Park this Sunday. The daring duo experienced the heart-pounding ride themselves, marking a memorable moment for the city.
Addressing the media during the event, Mayor Karachi shared his excitement about this new attraction, expressing his belief that the zipline would serve as a unique and thrilling experience for the residents of Karachi. Despite financial constraints causing delays in various municipal projects, Mayor Wahab outlined his vision for creating additional recreational spots within the city, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for the well-being and enjoyment of the citizens.
Deputy Mayor Karachi, also present at the event, took the opportunity to shed light on the ongoing development initiatives happening across all seven districts of Karachi. In addition to the zipline, he announced plans to introduce horse riding at Dino Safari Park in the near future, adding another layer of excitement for the park's visitors.
The zip line project was initially disclosed in August of this year when Mayor Karachi inaugurated the newly developed dinosaur park within Safari Park. At that time, he hinted that the zipline project was in the works and would soon become operational in the park.
It is worth noting that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) announced its intention to launch a zipline at Bagh Ibne Qasim near Clifton's coastline last year. The announcement, made by the then City Administrator Murtaza Wahab, who now serves as the Mayor, generated much anticipation. However, as of now, the zipline is yet to be installed at Bagh Ibne Qasim, leaving residents eager for its arrival.
In conclusion, the unveiling of the zipline at Safari Park marks a significant addition to Karachi's recreational landscape. Mayor Murtaza Wahab's commitment to providing unique and thrilling experiences to the city's residents, despite financial challenges, is commendable. As Karachi continues to evolve, initiatives like the zipline contribute not only to entertainment but also to the city's overall growth and development.
