History of Hanna Lake:
Hanna lake is among the most beautiful places in Pakistan. It was built in early 1894 during the British Era. This lake forms a bridge wall between two mountains. The main reason behind building this lake was to provide water to the population surrounding this area and to raise the underground water level. The lake is spread over 1818 Acres and has about 32 million gallons of water in it. It dried up in 2010, but in 2011 it was again filled which gives life to a wild variety of plants.

Golden Fish:
Hannah lake is the house of thousands of fish but the most attractive fish found there is the golden fish. It comes swimming right up to the edges of the lake and entertains the tourists.
Water Sports Academy:
Hanna Lake also has a famous water sports academy called Hayyat Durrani Water Sports Academy (HDWSA). It is situated on the east of Hanna Lake. It offers all different sports and recreational activities. You can rent a ship there and sail in the water of this lovely Lake.
