British Airways introduces its new Uniform after 20 years
British Airways has revealed its new uniform after two decades, introducing a new era of British Airways fashion.
This new uniform is designed by British fashion designer Ozwald Boateng and Savile Row tailor, led by Head of Design & Production, Angelica Colucci. It is inspired by British Airways' staff, their roles at the airline, and their experience of flight. Moreover, Ozwald Boateng gave this uniform a sense of elegance and functionality.
This uniform will be official in spring 2023 and the first staff to wear this uniform will be engineers and ground operations agents. The other staff members of British Airways including the onboard crew and check-in agents will wear this new attire in the summer of 2023.
This collection included a three-piece suit for men and a skirt or trousers for women as well as a modern jumpsuit. The uniform also had an option of Hijab and Tunic. The fabric which is used for this uniform is jacquard and is tailored with the airline's iconic logo.
According to the airline, it took almost 4 years to design and test this outfit with the output of more than 1500 staff members across 50 workshops.
